About

Postmodern Anachronism is primarily intended as a venue for my "make believe" creative output. Mostly, this means roleplaying games. You can read about the status of my various projects, and hopefully find something of use.

The World Has No Mercy: Introduction

A casual play Blood & Tears Chronicle

Ambition. Lust. Revenge. You cannot have one without the others.

Thousands of years ago, the ven ruled the world. They were a passionate people, obsessed with Romance and Revenge, opera and theatre, and all the forbidden delights their decadent culture provided. In the end, that which made them beautiful was also the key to their own destruction.

The World Has No Mercy is a loose continuity Houses of the Blooded/Blood & Tears Chronicle. We call it loose continuity because the individual events are all meant to stand alone as one-shots, yet players have the chance to carry over their characters from event to event and take actions between events if they so wish. There is no set schedule or set location for the events - expect them to run once every few months, and usually in one of Saskatoon, Regina, or Edmonton.

If you want to play, or would just like more information, please contact the Storyteller at storyteller@postmodernanachronism.com. The next event, Blood & Wine, will be taking place Saturday, April 30th, in Edmonton, Alberta.

Characters

Every event will have a selection of one-off characters available for players to choose from. Players may also have their own characters that they will carry over from event to event - either a previous one-shot character they played and liked, or one they created in conjunction with the storyteller and are bringing into the game. Please contact the storyteller for details on making your own character, or look on the individual event pages for information on one-shot characters.
